## Next release

The next New Zealand Unemployment Rate release is scheduled for Nov 4, 2026. This page updates with the official value the moment the announcement is published.

New Zealand Unemployment Rate printed 5.6% in Q2 2026, a change of 0.2 percentage points from 5.4%. The value sits above the previous reading, so the important market question is whether it confirms the prevailing trend or forces a reassessment of NZD macro pricing.
