Sources, rights & your subscription
Data sources & licensing
Understand where official data comes from, which publisher conditions apply, and what an FXMacroData subscription allows.
Publisher terms reviewed:
Official data and the service built around it
The publisher's data
Public availability alone does not authorise commercial redistribution. An official dataset may be public domain, covered by an open licence, subject to specific reuse conditions, or require permission.
Rights must be checked for the particular dataset, its original producer and the proposed use. A publisher's website can contain third-party material with different terms.
The FXMacroData service
Subscription fees pay for collection, normalisation, historical organisation, access tools and delivery. They do not buy exclusivity over official economic facts.
FXMacroData's software, documentation and original work are distinct from source material. Formatting, combining or transforming data does not erase the publisher's rights or licence conditions.
Publisher terms and source-specific evidence
Selected publisher terms for the stated source material. This reference is not the complete FXMacroData catalogue, a claim that every dataset is available, or confirmation that every source condition has been satisfied. Rights must be assessed for the exact dataset and intended use.
The categories below describe the cited publisher terms. They do not certify that every FXMacroData series meets every condition, and are not a clearance statement for the whole catalogue. The original terms govern, including exclusions, attribution and restrictions on endorsement.

For a source or intended use not resolved by these terms, contact us before relying on redistribution rights. An entry marked permission required or review required is not permission to redistribute.
Access and redistribution are separate rights
Your service plan
- Individual covers one person's own research, trading and development.
- Business covers internal use by a company or team.
- Enterprise provides a negotiated agreement for institutional requirements.
Customer-facing display through the service is covered by the Commercial Redistribution add-on or rights expressly agreed in your contract, subject to the source rights described alongside. API access alone does not grant a general right to resell feeds, mirror databases or sublicense source content.
Publisher rights continue to apply
Our service licence cannot grant rights that the source publisher has not made available. An Enterprise agreement or redistribution add-on does not override an upstream restriction.
Our terms do not restrict rights granted to you under an applicable source licence or public-domain status, including required onward permissions attached to source material supplied through FXMacroData. You do not have to obtain the same material independently to retain those rights. The source licence's conditions continue to apply.
Where required, preserve the original publisher credit, licence link and modification notice. Powered by FXMacroData attribution does not replace source attribution.
Read the Terms of Service alongside the applicable publisher terms and any signed agreement. Data coverage describes availability; it does not itself grant reuse rights.
Evidence for procurement and enterprise review
A source schedule should match the datasets and uses being purchased. To request a review for your organisation, send us:
- The indicators, markets, history and delivery methods you need.
- Whether use is internal, customer-facing display, downloadable data, model training or onward redistribution.
- The audience, distribution channels and territories involved.
The review can then identify the original producer, applicable terms or permission, required attribution, third-party exclusions and any unresolved restrictions for that scope. Where permission is needed, a publicly accessible URL is not a substitute for written permission.
