What is always free in the FXMacroData API?

Always Free access includes public USD evaluation paths and discovery endpoints. USD time-series are limited to the most recent 90 days where history applies, delivered on a 15-minute delay, and up to 100 no-key requests per day.

Is free FXMacroData data delayed?

Yes. Without an API key every USD release is held back for 15 minutes. The response says so: it carries a freemium_delay object naming the cutoff, how many releases are withheld and when the next one becomes available. An Individual or Business API key removes the delay and adds real-time SSE and webhook delivery.

Does Always Free access expire after a trial?

No. Always Free access is separate from the 14-day paid trial and does not require checkout.

Which plan is required for customer-facing API use?

Human-readable customer-facing display requires an active Individual or Business base plan plus Commercial Redistribution. Raw API access, webhooks, bulk downloads, data feeds, marketplace resale, and reconstructable datasets are outside the self-service display licence and require separate written rights if offered.
